DESCRIPTION:Organized by John Dewey School for Children (JDSC) and Partnerships for Sustainability Education (PSE)\, the two-day global gathering will feature keynote panels\, interactive breakout sessions\, fun workshops\, cultural sessions\, youth-led forums and school sustainability stories. Speakers and attendees will include leaders and other representatives from schools\, universities\, UN agencies\, civil society\, faith traditions\, the public and private sectors and youth from around the world. \nThe Call to Unite Schools on Sustainability is organized around the following thematic sessions: \nPlenary Session 1 – Reassessing what we learn\, where we learn and how we learn \nPlenary Session 2 – Envisioning a Post-COVID-19 education: Sustainability at the heart of education \nPlenary Session 3 – Creating the future of education starts now \nThe sustainability of our societies lies heavily on how we invest in our most precious asset—our children and our youth. \nBy working with education leaders\, schools\, and other sectors of society\, we ensure that today’s learners will develop to become the change-makers the world needs. \nBe part of the sustainability education movement.
